MANAGEMENT OF 4-K Club PROJECTS

A project is a temporary activity undertaken to meet specific goals and objectives aimed at bringing beneficial change or added value. It should have a defined beginning and end.

Project management is the process and activity of planning, organizing, motivating and controlling resources to achieve specific goals.

4-K Club activities should give girls and boys an equal opportunity to participate in productive roles. A project may include vegetables growing, small livestock, fish production and making handcrafts. The 4-K Club project will enable the member to engage in an activity of value to himself and his family. The members can learn improved agricultural methods which can be adopted by both the parents and the community. The project then becomes a result demonstration (show case) in the community.
